Asura Hunter Master Class
It can do stable attack and defense quickly. It is good at acting in different situation by using style changes, skill's MP efficiency rate. It supports party member's P.Atk stat.
The Deadeye - This is The Master-Class for an Asuran Crossbow-Wielding Character. It is the next step after becoming a Shadow Hunter.
Highlights[]
Strengths[]
- High HP. Now 1000% of Dex and Agi added to hp as of epic 9.1 (can get 35k - 75k hp)
- Bleed (with Piercing Arrow) gets a nearly instant cooldown, great for permanently bleeding. (as of 9.1, stacks 3 times, does good dot damage) Similarly, has a poison dot that does similar damage, but requires you max it out at 5 stacks instead of 3.
- Very very high attack speed (anywhere from 300 - 1200 attack speed)
- Very very high evasion (typically 1000 - 2000 evasion)
Weaknesses[]
- Low defense
- Low damage (compared to other ranged/magic classes) as of epic 9.1 (see marksmen, mercenary or corrupter)
Notable Skills[]
- Frost Arrow, with a few DEs in the party, in combination with Thunderbolt Arrow and Thrust Arrow, nothing should get in melee range.
- Burning Style, as of 8.1, also adds 9% physical attack at max lvl, making it very strong. The HP lost from the -9% of the skill nearly balances out with the +9% agi and dex converted to HP.
Caveats[]
- Unlike most other class weapons, the crossbow's cubing bonus even for Dura3, Master Class Dura 2 and circus cross-bows are weak.
Recommended Builds[]
TP Points:
3-2-0, the 3rd line gives very little benefit when compared to the first 2. The 3rd TP in the first line gives one of the few skills that can debuff a boss, making it extremely powerful, virtually a guaranteed 8 second hold in pvp.
2-3-0, The middle tree TP lowers MP cost which allows you to spam Poison Shot and Piercing arrow as they are now able to stack in Epic 9.1. Helps with the constant casting of Frost Arrows and Thunderbolt Arrow.
2-0-3, With the latest changes in Epic 9.1, the third tree gives Demonic Howl, a powerful party-wide buff increasing agility and dexterity by a % for one hour. It's a powerful buff that stacks with virtually every other class buff in the game. Furthermore, This loadout is playable and preferred for most low-mid masterclass level parties. It sacrifices damage and attack speed for a slight increase in tank-ability when compared to the 3-2-0 Talent point setup. Higher level parties will prefer DE's be 3-2-0 (for shadow orb) and usually use a buff slave to Demonic Howl the party.
Stones:
Balanced: Full Agility and Dexterity stones in a 1-1 ratio for best speed, accuracy, and HP while keeping great damage. This is best if you will pull agro, or when fighting higher level bosses (175+) due to the accuracy.
Glass Cannon: Nothing but Agility and Annihilation stones, preferably 1-1 ratio. This will nearly halve the HP, and will hurt accuracy a lot, but you will get critical hits every hit and for well over 200% crit power. As of epic 9.1 This build is not recommended for characters below 170 who plan on going into stage 3 or 4 of the underground dungeons, or the circus dungeon because of the builds propensity to miss frequently and nearly die in 1 hit from normal monsters.
Pets[]
On the belt:
2 stage-3 Harpies, 2 stage-3 Unicorns or s5 Wolves for the core of your belt stats. Optional cards to make up for patk are staged Kentaros or Panteras. Consider keeping one spot open for a Boss card like SLK-dmg, Draka-hpboost, or Mephisto-dmg, Soul of Lunacy-tank, or Black Widow-tank. The choice depends on what the particular deadeye is trying to accomplish,.
End-game, the belt should look more like, 3 s3 cerberus 2-s5 skeletons, SLK or Mephisto or stage 5 Koala(Snowman). With the advent of epic 9.1 and the release of the underground/circus gears, the new plateau dead eyes should attempt to reach ~676 atk speed. (previously it was ~350)
Summoned:
Consider keeping an octopus or two in your formation occupying lower positions, so you can quickly summon one, cast a life leech buff on yourself without losing the benefit of keeping your main summoned creature out. With 2 in your formation, you can almost maintain life leech permanently.
Early game, a harpy or skeleton for the attack speed unity is good. With the advent of soulpets, nearly any soul pet that gives you evasion boosts or damage or attack speed boosts would be great.
End game -damage loadout, a death tyrant for the unity and skill boost, or a melee soulpet with: Wolf relic, Feral Instinct, Murderous Intent and Encouragement: P.Atk. to get obliterating spike damage. (1k+ atk speed and is useful against bosses)
End game -survival loadout, a s5 blue pixy, or a s5 soulpet healer with favoritism and two 8-second heals for maximum survivability.
Equipment[]
Armor and Weapons[]
Typical Deadeye builds will utilize either Intense Master Class gear for survivability, due to their higher evasion and attack speed rates, which yields high degrees of hold or stun locking (due to skill or belt passives). Or they may opt for a balance between Damage and Survivability and utilize Full Feral Gear to maintain damage output.
As of Epic 9.1, it is highly encouraged to save one's money for the Level 160 Underground/Circus gears. It is possible to achieve a higher crit rate and crit power than the master class feral gears, as well as achieve a higher atk speed and evasion stat than the master class intense gears. Without a doubt, the underground armor will always produce higher pdef and mdef on your character, compared to wearing other gears of the same upgrade quality. (i.e. +17 lvl10 v +17 lvl 10)
The under ground helmet always comes with 2 stone slots open, a random bonus of pdef and mdef.
Boots and gloves may come with 2 or 3 stones slots available, a random pdef and mdef bonus, and up to 4 more random bonus stats (i.e. atk speed, evasion, crit pow, crit rate, agility, dext, wis, int...etc.)
Armor may come with 2-4 open stone slots, random pdef and mdef bonus, and up to 4 additional random stat bonuses. (As in the example above)
The Deadeye will typically utilize one or several possible belt sets depending on its intended purpose. Silairon for Soloing (best all around), Salam for pure damage dealing (+250 dex maxed), Anessa for tanking (big hp and pdef boost).
